BOSSIER CITY - A graveside service for Billy W. Hill, 86, will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Rose-Neath Cemetery, Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Pierce. Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City prior to the graveside.
Billy W. Hill was born in Queen City, TX on October 13, 1925 and passed away suddenly on May 2, 2012 in Bossier City, LA. Mr. Hill was a veteran of World War II and retired from Southern Pacific Railroad in El Paso, TX after 43 years of service. He then moved to Bossier City to be near family.
Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Plennie Hill, sister, Bonnie Rice and brothers, Charles Hill and Clyde Hill. He is survived by a sister, Vaudine Julian, brother, Doyle Hill and a host of nieces and nephews.
