The Benton Lady Tigers won the Region I-4A track and field title Tuesday at Benton. According to Benton coach Barry Blunkett, its the school's first regional title in girls track and field.
Benton scored 121 points to 93 for runner-up Alexandria Senior High. Benton freshman Katie McKay, who won the 1,600 and 3,200, earned high-point honors.
The boys division was much closer. Benton and Alexandria Senior High shared the title with 82 points. Benton was third with 75.
